You've got the Love...

Love is not supposed to be something that you can see, however when I met Nancy and Kon one sunny Saturday morning for coffee, I could honestly see it crackling between them. Individually two of the nicest and most gorgeous people you will ever meet, together they are just magic. Both from big families and looking at a guestlist of over 200 with the reception to be held at Sergeants Mess, they still wanted to create a homey, slight rustic and natural atmosphere with the flowers. We used loads of hydrangea in pale blue and green to match their stationary, and then loads of fluffy white dahlias, tuberose, kale, ivy berry, iceberg roses, freesias and gorgeous succulents wrapped in moss and twine intersected with blooms in vintage bottles. Nancy's bouquet was kept soft and rambling, with a slightly longer stem bound with natural twine to match Kon's dahlia and twine buttonhole. Nancy looked like a dream, in THAT DRESS (!) and stunning makeup by Make Up By Megan. The images were captured by Lillie Brennan of Shutter + Lace - Photography. This wedding was an absolute dream to work on and the photos take my breath away every single time I see them  (see more here) x

Peony power....

Lace. Coral peonies. The most divine farm setting. A helicopter?! All of these things were amongst the divine details of Sonja and Dean's wedding last year. Kicking off with a gorgeous ceremony on a private property in Greendale, framed by lush grey curtains and followed by a party reception at Menangle House, Sonja wanted a rustic, bohemian but glamourous feel to the day. Her lace gown was complemented by a lush bouquet of the most amazing peonies, david austen and garden roses, gardenias, hydrangea and geraldton wax. We used the same combination in the Bridesmaids bouquet, and the coral played gorgeously off the grey gowns they wore. Angelic flower crowns of wax flowers were the perfect complement to the flower girls lace dresses (including Sonja and Dean's gorgeous baby daughter Marnie, such a cutie!). The reception tables were filled with vintage bottles of blooms: peonies, roses, gardenias, wax flowers and daisies, and vases wrapped in handmade doilies filled with candles. The result was stunning, and the photos really reflect what a gorgeous day it was.... you can see more photos on the Clementine facebook page here.

Softly, softly....

Vanessa and Chris were married at the gorgeous Wandin Estate, a lush vineyard in the Hunter Valley complete with a vintage cricket field, amazing views and a natural bushland clearing, perfect for a romantic outdoor ceremony. Vanessa wanted soft and dreamy blooms, so we went for a gorgeous combination of peonies, hyacinth, lisianthus, hydrangea, garden roses and geraldton wax in soft pink, lilac and cream tones, complememented by clusters of silverdust. My favourite details on the day included cut crystal bud vases on each table, angelic halos for the flowergirls and the gorgeous pale blue kombi, all captured to perfection by Popcorn Photography. There are even more amazing photos on Popcorn Photographys blog, and a few more on the Clementine Posy facebook page. Enjoy!

Summer days....

A simple, vintage inspired elegant day is what Kate and Mark envisioned for their December wedding day, and that is exactly they achieved. I literally gasped when Kate opened the door to recieve her bridal bouquet, she looked absolutely stunning. Fragrant gardenias, latte Julia roses, white David Austen roses and peach brandy roses bundled together were the perfect accessory! The reception was held at Ripples, and we offset the gorgeous harbour view with low vases of fragrant blooms- simple and effective. Such a divine day for a beautiful couple, and all captured by Creek Street Photography in these gorgeous photographs. See more at the Clementine Posy facebook page here x

Always take the weather with you...

Aleisha and Ryan were married last year at Sylvan Glen in September. It was a drizzly and windy morning, and they were prompted to move their ceremony inside due to the weather. They emerged from the ceremony to clear blue skies and Gemma Clarke Photography snapped some of the prettiest photos I have seen! Aleisha requested an eclectic and soft look for her blooms, and so we gathered together gorgeous ranunculus in creamy white, soft pink and a dusty mauve, delicate flannel flowers,
anemones, thrypp and gorgeous scented stock and hyacinth with a smattering of cymbidium orchids. Blooms clustered into vintage jars scattered the tables along with the super cute menu cards and origami paper cranes. Such a gorgeous day! You can see more photos on the Clementine Posy
facebook page here!

All tied up...

It has been busy busy busy here at Clementine HQ... wedding madness would be the best way to describe it! I have lots of pretties to share from the season so far, starting with Madeleine and Josh's wedding at Palm Beach. Peonies, roses, hydrangea, lace, vintage jars, twine- what more could you want? Madeleine worked really hard on making sure that the day had a personal touch, including wrapping 150 jars in twine for the reception at the divine Dunes restaurant. There are many more photos on the Clementine facebook page here, head over and have a look!

So fresh...

Sara and John's vision for their wedding was a simple, elegant, family oriented day with a handmade touch. Sara is very creative, and was keen for the flowers to have a pretty edge to them. The lushest white hydrangea, together with fragrant David Austen roses, gardenias, lime cynbidium orchids, foliage and berries bound with doda vine was exactly what she had in mind. To keep the place settings looking pretty, we boun each menu card with twine an tucked a bloom of bunle of berries into each one. The cake, made by the Brides very talented sister and my good friend Megan, was iced to perfection in white, a perfect base for a tumble of fresh flowers and blooms. The fresh whites and greens complemented Sara's vintage inspired dress perfectly as well as the gorgeous venue, Harrington Grove Country Club. You can view the rest of Sara and Johns gorgeous day on the Clementine Facebook page Here!
